NJ campaign issues featured on WNYC call-in show

Plainfield concerned about seeing that the real issues in New Jersey get aired (as opposed to driving habits and cash gifts), have a unique opportunity to hear -- and PARTICIPATE -- in an on-air discussion on the area's famed public radio station, WNYC (93.9 FM, 820 AM).

Each day this week, talk show host Brian Lehrer will take up a separate New Jersey issue on his eponymously-named show, which airs from 10 AM to Noon daily. A background story by senior news correspondent Bob Hennelly is here.

Here is a rundown of the week's lineup --

Week 3: Week-long Focus on Development in NJ

As with the look at NYC, this week will be devoted to development issues in New Jersey, from high profile projects at the Meadowlands to the intersection of development and corruption.

11 Mon 10/5 Corruption and Development
12 Tues 10/6 Focus: The Meadowlands
13 Weds 10/7 Smart Suburbs and Transit
14 Thurs 10/8 Affordable Housing
15 Fri 10/9 Farmlands and Open Space
