Devils Arena: How about a handy handle?

People like short, snappy names that convey the flavor of what something's about.

Think Golden Gate Bridge.

So, what to do with the Devils new arena in Newark?

Prudential has plunked down a big piece of the Rock for naming rights, but Prudential Center doesn't hack it.

Nor Pru Center.

Shouldn't the catchphrase call the Devils to mind?

A modest proposal -- How about Devils Rock?

The Devils are in and Pru gets its due.
