Campaign volunteers, friends and supporters of Plainfield's Democratic mayoral nominee Adrian Mapp will gather before Monday evening's Plainfield Democratic City Committee reorganization for a memento photograph beneath the candidate's billboard at the corner of East Second Street and Watchung Avenue.
Folks are invited to gather at 6:30 PM sharp for a photo session of all gathered near the Investors Bank branch across the corner from the billboard. Parking is available in the public lot on East Second Street adjacent to the bank location.
Committee members and interested visitors will then attend the re-organization meeting of the Plainfield Democratic City Committee, which will take place at 7:00 PM at the primary election's campaign headquarters on West Front Street (next to Dunkin' Donuts). Parking for the PDCC re-organization is available in the County Office Building lot on West Second Street, with spillover parking available in the PNC lot on West Second Street.
Guests are welcome at the PDCC meeting.
Monday's evening's reorganization will be followed by the Union County Democratic Committee's re-organization meeting on Tuesday evening, at which Plainfield Democratic chairperson and Assemblyman Jerry Green is expected to be elected the County organization's chair, replacing the retiring Charlotte De Filippo.
