Community blood drive at Grace Church Sunday

Grace Church is at East 7th and Cleveland (don't look for the scaffolding,
which is from restoration work done a few years ago).

Plainfield residents are invited to participate in a community blood drive Sunday, June 9, hosted by Grace Episcopal Church in partnership with The Blood Center of New Jersey.

The blood drive will take place in the church's Parish Hall from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
Pre-registration is not required.

The blood donation process will take approximately 35 to 40 minutes.  Donors must weigh at least 102 pounds and the Blood Center recommends that donors eat a substantial meal before donating blood.  Young people 16 years old and older can donate, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they are under the age of 18..

Grace Episcopal Church is located at East 7th Street and Cleveland Avenue (between Park and Watchung). Entrance to the parish hall is on Cleveland Avenue, near 6th Street. Parking is available on the street and in the public lot across from the church on East 7th Street.
