Friday night shooting victim medevacked

A shooting incident on East 6th Street near Berckman Street around 10:30 PM Friday resulted in the victim being rushed by medevac to RWJ Medical Center with a single gunshot wound to the chest.
More as information becomes available. The Star-Ledger has an early report on the shooting here.
