BREAKING: Shots fired on Arlington Avenue

Shortly after the homicide at Plainfield Avenue and West 4th Street on Wednesday evening, there were reports of shots fired on Arlington Avenue near Randolph Road.

Shell casings were reportedly found, but no victims. The area is known by police to have a set of the Crips gang, distinguished by the wearing of orange as opposed to the usual Crips blue.

It is not known if there is any connection with the homicide on Plainfield Avenue.

That area was bad before and cleaned up under a previous administration. It appears to me during this time we are welcoming gangs more and more? Plainfield had come a long way under McWilliams era, the area around Randolph and Park was re-blossoming, too bad. New Mayor & new police Chief, well folks you voted for it. Back to the wild wild west.

It was cleaned up before McWilliams, remember he let Cop's go, and we had all the murder's under him

Get the low lifes out of Plainfield. I see police cars and police in the station more than I care to. Every single one of them should be on the street, and admin work should be done by civilians.

If not, get the guardian angels in here.
