Plainfield will have a commemoration of the tenth anniversary of 9/11 after all (a notice appeared on the city's website Saturday).

Here is the complete notice which appears in Sunday's Courier --

Plainfield will host a September 11 remembrance ceremony 9:30 a.m. Monday on the steps of City Hall at 515 Watchung Avenue. Mayor Sharon Robinson-Briggs asked residents and city employees to use Sunday as a 'time for private reflection and thought.'

'This is a time for all who are available to come together as one family to reflect on the tragic loss our country endured 10 years ago,' Robinson-Briggs said.

Thanks to Sharon for being on time. I can't believe we trust this person to do anything for us. I wouldn't let here run a bake sale at my church. It's not like we didn't see this coming.
