Hidden Plainfield: Steeling ourselves

Today's mystery home's owners are Steelers fans.
With football season getting under way (be sure to check out today's CLIPS for the PHS Cardinals' extraordinary 2011 start), Hidden Plainfield turns to a Steelers fan's home.

This brick 19th century vernacular home has a graceful porch that my guess is was a later addition. It sits next to a frame house which is nearly its twin. The two together are next to a third house that is set far back from the roadway, indicating it is a much earlier home.

Today's home, with its near-twin next door and the much earlier house set farther back to the left.

A small clue: though Front Street contains some of the oldest Plainfield homes, this one is not on Front Street.

Do you know where this property is?

Answer tomorrow.
