Hidden Plainfield: 'Godfather' Tudors?

Tale of two Tudors: One is in Plainfield; which is it and where?

Plainfield has its mob connections as I learned over the years, and when the Stockbroker Tudor where the wedding scene from The Godfather was filmed came on the market, I did a double-take.

It reminded me of a Plainfield home, but where was it?

After a little touring, I found it.

Which one is the Plainfield home and which the Godfather's?

And where is the Plainfield one located?

Tomorrow, I'll reveal all -- including details about the 'Godfather' house and Plainfield's mob connections.

For now, enjoy this clip of the wedding scene from The Godfather...

Ah, Morgana King, aka "Mama Corleone!" Now I feel like seeing The Godfather! I am not even gonna try to guess where this house is--I am always wrong!

The first one is in Plainfield on the corner of Mayfair and Glenwood (I think those are the streets) - right across from where John DeMarco lives.

Im guessing the top house is the Plainfield house. The bottom is the Dons house. If we are talking about the same one, its only $3.9 mil and its in Staten Italy, uh... Island.

I was the Courier paperboy for Mayfair Way and Glenwood Avenue years ago. The owners of this house at the corner of those two Sleepy Hollow streets always refused my subscription offers. But I don't hold that against the charm of their house.

I remember trick or treating in that area. I was so young, but they looked like mansion then and still do! Love when you post these on your blog.
