Youngsters enjoy spray pool at Cedar Brook Park.
Plainfield youngsters will get an extra boost for summer programs if Tiffany Wilson of the Union County Prosecutor's Office and her friends have their way.
Tiffany and a crew from other Plainfield service agencies are putting together a Directory of Summer Programs for Youth.
To participate, any organization offering a summer program for young people -- from one-day activities to two-week Bible camps to full-length summer programs -- is invited to help build the Directory that agency personnel can use to make referrals to the programs.
Each program is asked to supply fifty (50) copies of their summer program flyer/brochure and any application form needed. These items should be 3-hole punched and can be dropped off with Stacey Reh at the YMCA, 518 Watchung Avenue, by Friday, May 16th.
For further information, contact Tiffany Wilson at (908) 226-0124 or 791-7130 or by email to twilson@ucnj.org.
As Tiffany says, this is truly a win-win for all concerned.
