Plainfield, Friday, 103º, Volleyball

Believe it or not, the temperature was 103º and these guys were having an energetic game of volleyball in a side yard on Richmond Street Friday afternoon about three o'clock.

I broke a sweat just taking the picture.

Hey Dan --

My Indian friends at work think this is "like home". They find our average temperatures chilly.

I guess it's all what you are used to!

That's crazy, they should be on the beach playing!

103 degrees is not the weather to play sports but there is beach volleyball and I would guess with the sand and all, it gets quite close to the 100 degree mark.

Hope they are drinking a lot of water!

This house is on Grant Ave. just after Green Brook (on the right) if you are coming from N. Plainfield. I see them every evening what I come home from work, and I break a sweat watching them in my air conditioned car.

They have alot of asphalt around their house, but it is neat and clean. Some grass and flowers by the front door would be great.
