Hidden Plainfield: July 10 property ID

Google map shows setback.

A Google map of yesterday's Hidden Plainfield home shows how much farther this home is set back from the street in relation to its neighbors, hence my pun.

The house is on Belleview Avenue, as commenters guessed.

A special thanks to Mike T. for the neighborhood details he recalls. I'm always fascinated to learn what kinds of buildings were replaced by those we take for granted as part of the fabric of the area. (I had never even wondered what had previously been on the lot where the Burger King stands.)

Back when I was active in real estate, this property was on the market and a bunch of us trouped through it during a realtors' open house. It was quite a shock that very first time to open the kitchen door and find yourself staring directly over the fence into the rear neighbor's back yard.

Where shall we go next week?

Dan: is it trouped? or trooped? You're usually spot on.

Pat -- I think you're right. On the other hand: A flock of chickens, an ascension of larks, a charm of finches, a troupe of Realtors...?
