Sign Justice

Plainfielders don't have to ask whether there is 'sign justice'.

The evidence is before their very eyes.

1 how do they get the holes so round?
2 what happens to the little punched out circles?
3 why don't they just take down the ugly signs???

Who is responsible to the sign owner for replacement of the damaged sign?
I say the city council pass an ordinance to replace all signs that are damaged by vandals and to supply cab fare to the owners so that they can take down the old, and put up the new!

To Anonymous 6:13, I hope your kidding. Replace the illegal signs with new ones? How about this. Fine the owners and the installers of these signs $500.00 each sign. Take the money and put it towards lowering our taxes. Don't you understand that it takes business away from local "tax paying" businesses? And look how nice it makes the town look. Wow I especially like the ones affixed 15 feet in the air on utility poles. Also illegal! Wake up Plainfield, pull the signs up, throw them away and it will stop. Just that easy.
