It was a great game, they came so close! There was an awesome crowd there at the IZOD Center to cheer them on, too!
Congrats to the team on a great season, they should all be proud!
With the score as close as it was, I would not consider it a "fall" but rather a slight slip.
Can't wait for the city parade next year when they win.
Dan: the PHS boys are the best public school team for the second year in a row. Schools like St. Anthony's become national powerhouses because they can recruit anywhere in the world. Next year is nice. This year is WONDERFUL.
p.s. Did you notice the (printed) Courier lacked the final score; the (printed) Ledger had it?
Kudos to our Cardinal Basketball Team. I was there with my son (his first basketball game) and we had a blast.
Our boys played exceptionally well, despite losing one of their key players early in the game. Thankfully he was able to rejoin the game in the 2nd half.
St. Anthony's is 20+ year power house in high school basketball and to lose by only 4 points is a win in itself. This team has been beating their opponents by 30+ points on average. Great Job again to the players and coaches. Go Plainfield!!!!
