BREAKING: Two shot overnight

Despite Plainfield's being blanketed by snow, all was not quiet overnight in the Queen City. Two males are reported shot on Plainfield Avenue, between 3rd and 4th Streets, shortly after 2:00 AM.

Am told both were transported to RWJ, one gravely wounded and may not survive.

More as details emerge.

Wow! What a level of illiteracy from your 8:07 poster. Can't blame it on typos. Are they all like that?

Time for Marty to re-evaluate the plan. Shooting, along with someone possibly not making it (Homicide). I guess he didn't factor snow into the equation. I guess in Verona, the criminals turned in their guns for snow shovels during inclement weather. Let's see, demote two more Captains, promote another Lieutenant to a non-patrol function, add another patrolman to the money producing traffic unit, layoff some folks and that may solve the problem. With every shooting, comes the retaliation. God be with the crime victims.
