Adios Comcast, Bienvenidos Verizon FiOS

Plainfield Today is joining the move away from Comcast -- today.

The bottom line is that it's the bottom line. Comcast just wants an arm and a leg for monthly charges, and Verizon is eating their lunch.

So, we're finally biting the bullet and making the switch.

Tomorrow's post will be coming via Verizon FiOS. And the monthly cost will go down considerably.

Verizon only "eats their lunch" for the initial offer. I'm a Fios customer paying about $50 more a month than the price in the ads I receive regularly. And I had a "Princess phone" which I could plug into the wall jack during the power outage - no luck.

we dumped Comcast over 2 years ago. Every month Comcast kept raising our rate adding new charges that were not ours. They even tried to charge me after I cancelled them and returned the cable boxes to Comcast.
