Hidden Plainfield: Chip Off The Old Block ID'ed


Garages were available as kits to match your house style,
as in this one from the Gordon-Van Tine Company.

The original doors of this week's home doubtless
looked much like this example.

Yesterday's Hidden Plainfield home (see here) is in the 900-block of Kenyon Avenue, just up from Stelle Avenue.

I'm including a catalog illustration from the Gordon-Van Tine Company showing a common garage style available in kit form. The doors of this week's home probably looked much like those in the other photograph above.
