Am told there was a fire overnight Sunday at the vacant home on John Street which was the site of the murder of Shawane Lovely.
The vacant multi-family property, believed to be in foreclosure, was once home to the late Freeman Whetstone, legendary Plainfield NAACP activist and housing advocate.
