Despite erroneous Dem mailer, Council candidates cruise to victory

Despite the erroneous mailer sent out by Plainfield Democratic City Committee chair Jerry Green assigning at least one City Council candidate an incorrect line number, City Council candidates Annie McWilliams (Citywide at-large), Bill Reid (Ward 1) and Adrian Mapp (Ward 3) cruised to victory in Tuesday's general election.

Here are the Plainfield City Council results, from Union County Clerk's website.

The 'personal choice' votes in the Ward 3 contest are presumably for write-in candidate Brenda Gilbert.
