Hidden Plainfield: 'One of a [plebian] kind' property ID

This concrete block home on South Second Street may be Plainfield's sole example of the style.

Make that 'plebeian' and you may have a winner, wrote one reader.

Right you are! 'Plebes' were Roman commoners and the adjective includes the final 'e', but the uncommonness of yesterday's Hidden Plainfield still stands. It may possibly be the only one of its kind in Plainfield.

This well-maintained concrete block home is on South Second Street, near Clinton Avenue.

Where shall we go next week?

Lovely home. Needs landscaping.
