Kelly Heyboer, the Ledger's blog maven, posted an interview yesterday with Dave Mastio, whose BlogNetNews has started ranking New Jersey's "most influential blogs."
It's an interesting interview, so I decided to go look at the list, which is here.
Lo, and behold!
PLAINFIELD TODAY is ranked as the 6th most influential blog in New Jersey, topping PoliticsNJ and Baristanet (role model to the goddesses), who weren't even in the top 20.
Then I noticed that PLAINFIELD TODAY was the second most linked blog in New Jersey for the week.
Not bad, considering I wasn't even trying, for Pete's sake.
As some friends say, "Maybe now you'll pay attention to what other people think of you."
My answer: Can you teach an old dog new tricks?
Besides, next week you can be chopped liver.
Meanwhile, I went to check out how Hoboken411 was handling being numero uno.
He's doing just fine, thank you, and it reminded him of an old David Letterman sight gag -- check it out (scroll down toward end of his post).
