PRIDE PICNIC 2007 |
Sunday was a perfect day for the Pride Picnic at Leland Avenue Park.
Mild temperatures and plenty of shade were conducive to the enjoyment as hundreds of residents and friends gathered to celebrate.
Booths for community organizations and vendors lined the perimeter, with a bandstand as the focal point -- with live music throughout the afternoon.
Mayor Robinson-Briggs delivered a brief greeting and Ward 2 Councilor Cory Storch busily circulated among the throngs.
Thanks to all who made it possible, especially Joe Burris and John Nash of Sleepy Hollow Realtors and Roberta Smith of Wells Fargo Mortgage Company.
