AKAs offer free Black History Month program at Crescent

All are invited to a free African American History Month event at Plainfield's Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church on Sunday, February 22.

The annual event is sponsored by the Theta Phi Omega chapter, which serves sorors in the Plainfield area, and is hosted by the chapter's charitable arm, Ivy Visions, Inc.

The program will offer an array of talented and dynamic artists featuring vocal and musical presentations.

While the program, which begins at 3:00 PM, is free and open to the public, reservations are appreciated as there will be a reception afterwards. Email your reservation to programs@ivyvisions.org. You can also follow the Theta Phi Omega chapter on its Facebook page here.

Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church is at Watchung Avenue at East 7th Street Parking available in the church lot on First Place, on the street, or in Swain Galleries lot across from the church.
