Plainfielders wanting to escape the idiocy of the malls can have a special treat today -- which is Small Business Day -- by shopping a local holiday fair sponsored by Together As One at the Central Jersey Arts Charter School on South Avenue near Leland (across from Burger King) from Noon to 4 PM today.
My favorite cookie madness vendor, Rebecca Williams, will be there with samples of her yummy cookies (see her cookie website here, where you can order holiday cookies if you cannot make it out today).
