A person who has shown no leadership, and no backbone will now represent Plainfield.
Poor poor Plainfield. You always get suckered into giving the bottom of your barrel.
Until you learn, you will be condemmed to relive your mistakes. You will continue to wonder why you are stuck where you are and you will continue to blame each other.
You will then turn around and do the exact same thing and expect a different result.
Nothing will change. Plainfield will continue to be the dumping ground.
That goes for the New Dems too who willingly supported Carter.
Poor, poor Plainfield.
I don't know what Carter has done to deserve this - she did not support Al when he ran as a write-in candidate. She did not support Mapp last year. She did not support Mapp/McWilliams.
I don't understand why Dan you are so giddy about her.
I don't get it.
One has to wonder why there is such a love fest between the Dems and the New Dems. The previous two posts are right. Carter really has not done much - but then again, she was a New Dem.
Me thinks something else is cooking! Old enemies in bed makes for some explosive stuff under the covers. Hmm
If you can't beat 'em, join em?
Why would anyone want to run on the 'organization' line in a Democratic primary? Affiliating with the group that has corrupted government in Union County only legitimizes the evil syndicate. Deals with the Devil are always wrong.
Democrats need to take back the Democratic Party machinery from the power brokers and party bosses. Compromise is not an option.
Joining them is a stain on anyone who pretends to be a reformer. New Democrats in Plainfield need to assert themselves and reject the corruption.
