Our beloved JoJo, Jo-Ann Sloane's funeral arrangements are as follows --
The viewing will be today, February 11, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral will take place tomorrow, February 12, at 10:00 AM.
The viewing and funeral will be at Christian Fellowship Gospel Church, 255 Johnston Avenue (corner of George Street).
Bishop George Benbow will officiate.

Thank you Dan for writing about our dear friend and co worker Jo-Ann. I was looking in the Courier news for information about the funeral arrangements and found nothing. There are a lot of people who are currently living out of the state, whom lives she touched. We will all miss our dear JO jo.I was thrilled that she visited us last year in Georgia. We had such a good time. Thanks for keeping us who no longer living in the city abreast on what is happening in Plainfield

My name is Joseph L. Sloane Jr. sloanejr@hotmail.com brother of our Jo-Jo and my most sincere appreciation goes out to all the love from the human family. Life is not the amount of time; but the quality of time on earth. There are some with the gift of the gab but their conversation is based on nothing. If Jo-Jo spoke it would be wise to listen because she'd had already accomplished the research. Please give of yourself to the less fortunate...from the heart. Please forgive the late response Jo-Jo and I were and will always be very close. It is an honour and a privledge to be her brother.
