Yes, guilt can be a motivator. Plainfield School Board elections are today, 2:00 - 9:00 PM, in your regular polling place.
The graphic above is my vote reminder. For yesterday's endorsements -- mine, Jerry's and Christian Estevez's -- go here -- where you'll also find links to the PEPtalk profiles and the Courier news listing.
Go vote.
And don't forget to vote on the budget.
Friends and supporters of 'Team 1463' are gathering after the polls close (9 PM) for the returns and refreshments at their headquarters, West 4th Street and Arlington Avenue. Use the public parking lot next door.

Everyone needs to take pride in their community involvement and go out to vote. It's easy to complain and blame the people in power holding seats for all thats wrong with our schools and City, very easy. The real adventure of life is when YOU take part in helping to choose people who share your beliefs, who will listen to your concerns, who will take time to explain how things work. The adventure and pleasure is knowing that you did your part in helping to make something work better. A new school, a new curriculum, a new traffic light where there was none, safer Streets, YOU have the power to help make these things happen as part of a voting body. Take your friend, family member or the neighbor you wave at daily. Go vote, and make the right choice by voting for TEAM 1463 - Barksdale, Ruffin Sr., Hollis and Westbrook! Make it better.
"Kids Up Front" all the time.
