City Council has an agenda session scheduled for City Hall Library this Tuesday, January 16th, where they are expected to also take up a budget discussion, as noted by both the Plaintalker and the Courier. That would be at 7:30 PM.
But the Martin Luther King Week schedule shows an NAACP event is supposed to take place in the same room -- at 6:00 PM.
No problem, you say?
True -- ONLY IF the Council skips its routine Executive Session and supper. Now, what's the chance of that?
Wonder whether whoever put the MLK Calendar together forgot to check with the Clerk's office about the availability of the City Hall Library.
Reminds PT of the old chestnut, "Does Macy's tell Gimbels?" Of course not.
