Side-by-side list of all 2019 PDCC candidates

One of my favorite Plainfield July 4 Parade pictures.

Below is a table of the slates running for Plainfield Democratic City Committee seats (PDCC).

There are 68 seats in total, one male and one female for each voting district.

There are 8 districts in Ward 1, 11 districts in Ward 2, 10 districts in Ward 3, and 5 districts in Ward 4, for a total of 34.

Note, the table does not include the "Progressive Democrats" slate, which consists solely of former Council president Bridget Rivers and her husband Raymond Edwards, who are seeking the male and female seats in Ward 4, District 3.

Next comes a short period for the slates to challenge each other's petitions. Signatures must be of registered Democrats residing in the district.

After that will come the drawing for ballot positions. Chairman Mapp's slate will be on the Democratic line. The others will be somewhere to the right of that on the ballot.
