Monday's Council repeats last week's, without the drama

The budget will be introduced Monday.

Not that there was THAT much drama at last week's agenda-setting session, but there will be even less at the business meeting Monday evening (April 8).

The agenda is a repeat (minus the withdrawn Shade Tree Commission appointment). Most of the resolutions are now on the consent agenda -- meaning things will zip along.

The big item is the introduction of the CY2019 budget (yes, the year is one third over aleady).

The only new item is a settlement proposed by Corporation Counsel Dave Minchello.

City Council meets at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers / Courthouse at Watchung Avenue and East 4th Street. Parking available on the street and in the lot across from Police Headquarters.

NOTE: I have seen officers in patrol vehicles allow Council attendees to turn onto 4th Street in front of Police Headquarters to enter the public parking. Exiting is no problem. Be cautious.
