The Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority (PMUA) hosts its 16th annual Environmental Fair today at Library Park, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
This is one of Plainfield's most popular outdoor events, with activities, games and information tables with an environmental slant.
The barbecue tent draws huge crowds.
Parking, as always, is an issue in the neighborhood, so be sure to wear your walking shoes.
LATE NOTICE: There will be a pre-Labor Day march and rally beginning at 11:30 AM at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Sponsored by Local 32BJ of the SEIU, the event will bring together local officials, union representatives and supporters. SEIU, the Service Employees International Union, is the largest property services union in the country.
