Rutherford-Jeffers-Bellamy team opens campaign HQ today with brunch


Board of Ed candidates have a billboard over Pete's Fish Market.
 

Plainfield Board of Ed candidates David Rutherford, Carletta Jeffers and Terrence Bellamy will host a fish-and-grits breakfast this morning to kick off the opening of their campaign headquarters at 508-B Watchung Avenue. The location is next door to City Hall Annex and has bee used by various political campaigns in recent years.

All are invited.

Where did they get the money to buy a billboard? Oh I know where, the Campbell's republican party. "keep poitics out of it" what a joke!

Everyone knows that with any type of election there comes fundraising. And once you've raised your money then you must decide what is the best way to reach the voters.

Right now here in Plainfield New Jersey- there is one ACTIVE and IN YOUR FACE campaign really going on and that's the School Board elections. The other campaigns are pretty obvious and require some foot work, but not as much campaigning and spending money.

Now you could say, this particular race is about Campbell vs Green vs Dorian Hurtt. I know which candidates I would NOT vote for and that's the Green Puppets. Mr. Hurtt even though he is already on the Board he started his campaign somewhat late. However, it is three of these four candidates that I would advise my friends, family, and neighbors to vote for and NOT Slime Ass. Green's puppets.
