Facing Foreclosure? City offers help

Free workshop for those facing foreclosure.

Though the nation's housing bubble collapse is nearly eight years behind us, many Plainfield homeowners are still facing foreclosure.

The City of Plainfield and Shiloh Baptist Church are sponsoring a FREE workshop for homeowners facing foreclosure this Thursday (May 19), from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

The Sun Foreclosure Prevention Program will discuss what options are available to homeowners in distress, including new and innovative programs.

If you are facing foreclosure, you may not have to lose your home.

Though the program is free, reservations are requested as space is limited. Call (908) 753-3610 to make your reservation.

The free workshop is being held at Shiloh Baptist Church, West 4th and Liberty Streets. Parking available in the West 5th Street lot.

If you're having trouble with your mortgage, you owe it to yourself to check out the help this program offers.
