Congratulations to Chris Estevez, new president of Latino Action Network

Chris Estevez and Analisa Mejia of the Working Families Party
at Saturday's Latino Action Network Legislative Conference.
Plainfield's own Christian Estevez (Chris to everyone) was elected president of the Latino Action Network of New Jersey at the group's second annual Legislative Conference Saturday at the Robert Treat Hotel and Conference Center in Newark.

Latino Action Network is a statewide network of Latino organizations and individual activists (see more about the organization on their website here, and their Facebook page here).

Chris, his wife Rosa and their sons are lifelong Plainfield residents. Chris works for the NJ AFL-CIO at the state level. He is a past committeeman on the Plainfield Democratic City Committee. Rosa works for the Plainfield Public Schools and the whole family is active in the parish life of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

Congratulations to Chris and to the Latino Action Network as they move forward!
