Plainfielders who remember when the community sported its very own Renaissance music ensemble, Ars Musica Antiqua, will have a chance to say good-bye to one of its founders in a SUNDAY memorial service (I mistakenly said it was Saturday; my apologies).
Jane Kanter, who with her late husband Walter, helped found the group, passed away recently at her daughter's in Sarasota, Florida. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, East 7th Street and Cleveland Avenue.
