I'm giving up and going to the doctor

Superman is no more. After 27 years since last seeing a doctor, I am bowing to my body's messages and going to the doctor.

What I thought was the 24-hour bug a week ago has left me still not up to speed, sleeplless  and with no appetite.

So, posts may be light or erratic over the next few days.

Appreciate your understanding.

I'm glad your body won out and I hope you feel better soon. Listening to your body and taking its hints usually is a good thing. Take care.

dan, i was the same way and didnt realize i had a bad appendix about to burst..afterward, the wise doctor discussed about men and doctor visits. men just avoid going to the doctors office, out of stubborness. he gave me a rule of thumb to follow. If whatever you have doesnt go away in 7-9 days then definitely go see a doctor. He said usually anything we catch can take a good 9 days to go away for sure adn then you have no worry. Looks like you had a day or two left on your wait....but of course better to be safe than sorry. we men are idiots when it comes to health matters.
