Not to make it sound like a 'personals' ad, but Plainfield Obama supporters Carol Anderson-Lewis and Carol Ann Brokaw (also AKA diehards) are going back to Pennsylvania for another go-round in helping canvass for the Obama campaign.
Obama supporters who understand that Pennsylvania is definitely now in play as the Obama campaign surges ahead in the national and state polls may well want to consider lending a hand.
The two Carols spent Wednesday at Obama's Bethlehem, PA, headquarters (a 45-minute drive from here), making phone calls to mostly senior citizens on behalf of the campaign.
Carol Ann reports it was 'a positive experience...with a well-organized and well-staffed office and a dedicated group of volunteers of all ages'.
Afterwards, they did a walking tour of Bethlehem's historic Main Street and found quite a few interesting shops, including some jewelry shops. (What!? No Bakelite bangles?)
The two are passing along the word that help is needed this weekend -- a few hours will be a great help. Just follow this link to get more details from the Obama Pennsylvania campaign.
NOTE: Bethlehem, the home of Lehigh University and Moravian College was originally settled by Moravians and hosts a world-famous annual Christmas celebration -- but you don't have to wait 'til then to check out its historic downtown -- see more info at --
