A [White] Castle That Divides

Ground has finally been broken for the White Castle on South Avenue.

Now I know that having a White
Castle is probably as divisive in the minds of some as passing a law in favor of gay marriage.

You either appreciate the not-so-subtle onion-flavored greasy little square burgers in their little square boxes or you do not. There's no two ways about it.

White Tower is under construction, at last!

This farm boy has loved them since he discovered them in downtown Syracuse, New York while working a summer job decades ago. And I can't wait to line up for a fix when the new store opens.

As for those who don't, well, they're just -- square.

Heaven, conceived as a square.

In my humble opinion.

Correction: Got my Towers and Castles tangled this morning. Of course, it's all about White Castles (and Red Towers).

It would have been nice to have a cafe or health food store instead of another chain selling high cholesterol...
