Crowd enjoying a past 'Shakespeare in the Park'. |
Union County's Board of Chosen Freeholders once again brings 'Shakespeare in the Park' to Cedar Brook Park this Sunday,July 28. This year's title is "Verily, Madly, Thine".
Presented by the Madison-based Shakespeare Festival of New Jersey, the annual event provides Shakespeare lovers an afternoon of light entertainment from Shakespeare's works while giving students valuable acting experience in front of a live audience.
Using the County's portable stage, the entire production experience provides students hands-on learning experiences in all the crafts associated with theater, and not just acting.
So bring your folding chairs or blankets, your snacks and water and enjoy this FREE theatrical treat.
The performance takes place on the lawn adjacent to the Shakespeare Garden and gets under way at 12:30. Parking available near the restrooms and along the drive.
