Recreation hosting free bus tour for newcomers Saturday


The tour begins at Plainfield City Hall, which is listed
on the National Register of Historic Places and will
celebrate its (approximate) centennial in 2019.

 

The Division of Parks and Recreation is hostng a bus tour Saturday morning for new residents and folks who are considering buying a home in Plainfield.

The free tour will take about an hour or so and attendees will ride in an air-conditioned over-the-road coach that will give an excellent view of the city's many recreational and historic attractions. Beverages and light refreshments will be provided.

Participants will gather in the City Hall parking lot in tine for the scheduled 11:00 am departure (don't be tardy!).

City Hall is at Watchung Avenue and East 6th Street. There is ample parking in the lot behind the building.
