Got a tip that Ch 5 (see here; and maybe Ch 7 also, see here) were at Plainfield school district administration building (formerly known as Jefferson School) this morning, trying to chase down Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 for on-camera remarks on the certifications mess, which has now turned into a state investigation of the possibility of fraud.
Question: Is it a slow-news day for New York television, or is this investigation a serious matter?

Good and while they are at it, stop by City Hall. I bet you there is a lot there worth investigating too. In the meantime, Christie and now Schundler will have a field day taking a closer look at this mess. I hope our Board of Ed wakes up soon.

Dan, I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic, or if you are really questioning whether or not this is a serious matter. It is a serious matter, not just for the teachers and administrators, but for the community! Children are in overcrowded classrooms with little or no books, there is talk of another 5% cut in teachers, but we keep adding administrators (some of which don't have proper certification and definitely don't have the proper experience) at over $100K. Can Plainfield afford to keep paying these high salaries?
This is a serious matter...I'm surprise at you Dan
This is a serous matter for the citizens and kids in Plainfield. We have too many under qualified and poorly performing teachers and administrators in our school system and they are getting paid well for their jobs. We need a weed whacker and need to get rid of the junk in our system and keep what is good. If our superintendent is the problem, get rid of him or her.
