Doubleheader tonight: Muhlenberg & Santiago

MUHLENBERG PLANNING

Continuing the momentum from Saturday's rally in support of Muhlenberg RMC, the Plainfield chapter of the People's Organization for Progress is hosting a community planning meeting at 6:30 PM today at the duCret School of the Arts, 1030 Central Avenue. Residents, former patients, families, staff -- anyone interested in and affected by the possible closing of Muhlenberg -- is invited to attend.

ADMINISTRATION v. POLICE CHIEF SANTIAGO
At 7:30, the City Council will hear from Trenton Police Director Joseph Santiago on the advantages of a civilian police director. This is the rescheduled presentation. All those interested in the plan of the Green/Robinson-Briggs administration to force Police Chief Ed Santiago out of his position will want to hear this presentation.
