Political bloggers welcome?

Can local political candidates who blog look to having a link on Dan's Plainfield Today?

Absolutely.

I'm more than happy to include candidate's blogs as links. But blogging politicos should be aware of a few things --

• Readers expect fresh content, which means posting with some regularity -- stale blogs don't get read.
  
  
• Write with care, your opponents will be your blog's closest readers.
  
  
• Blogs have an afterlife: everything you say can -- and will -- be used against you.
