Union County
election authorities advised Plainfield Municipal Clerk "AJay" Jalloh
that a Union County judge dismissed on Thursday afternoon all further challenges to the
petitions for the Plainfield Democratic City Committee that were filed
by the deCotiis law firm on behalf of PDCC Chairman Adrian O. Mapp.
This means that the ballots will reflect the petitions that passed Clerk Jalloh's review.
Eight of Chairman Mapp's challenges were sustained.
There will be 65 candidates for the Regular Democratic Organization -- no male or female in 2-8, no male in 2-9.
Mapp's slate will be faced by 49 challengers on two different slates.
I am pasting the certification as forwarded by the Clerk's office to the county authorities.
