City Council returns to its regular schedule of two meetings per month this Tuesday (Sept. 5) with its agenda-setting session at 7:30 PM at the City Hall Library.
Among the items to be considered are nine (9) ordinances that passed on first reading in August.
There are 24 resolutions up for deliberation, with the bulk of them (14) coming from the Department of Public Works and Urban Development.
BOARD OF ED MEETING
The Board of Ed will meet for a Work/Study session at 8:00 PM in the Hubbard School Auditorium.
The call announces that "action may be taken" and I see that the hiring of Dr. Larry Leverett's firm as consultants on Board development is the first item on the agenda.
Parking for the Board of Ed meeting is on the street; the entrance is the same as that for voting.
