Monday's Plainfield City Council agenda session looks to be a quiet one (see the agenda online here).
There are (thankfully) no "discussion items", no communications or nominations from the Mayor and no items from the Administration. The bulk of the agenda is from the Departments of Administration and Finance and Public Works and Urban Development.
Nothing appears to be eyebrow-raising. So, can we expect a quiet evening?
Perhaps, but this is Plainfield after all.
The Council meeting also happens to fall on Rosh Hashanah, the celebration of the Jewish New Year and the beginning of the annual cycle of High Holy Days. Happy New Year 5777 to all our Jewish friends.
City Council's agenda session gets under way at 7:30 PM at the Council Chambers / Courthouse, Watchung Avenue at East 4th Street. Parking available on the street or in the lot across from the Police Station.
