Picture of robber emailed by a reader.
Steps over the Plainfield city line, the Burger King on Park Avenue in South Plainfield was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening.
The photo above from the store's security camera was supplied by a reader, and shows the robber dressed in black clothing, with distinctive gloves and wearing a red bandanna to cover the lower portion of his face.
After taking cash, the robber fled on foot into Plainfield.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call South Plainfield police Lt. James Parker at (908) 226-7666.
