QCBL fundraiser for PHS honors student studying abroad

Some snapshots of PHS honors student Ajaleen Frazier
from her years in the Queen City Baseball League program.

Plainfield's Queen City Baseball League, which sponsors a variety of youth baseball opportunities in the community, is sponsoring a Softball Benefit fundraiser for one of its "graduates" this Saturday (July 18) at the Rock Avenue ballfields. Play is slated for 4:00 and 6:00 PM.

Ajaleen Frazier, who came through the QCBL program is an all-honors student and now plays for Plainfield High School. She will be spending the fall 2015 semester studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Her time there will also allow her to visit Portugal.

The fee to play is $25/person (teams are welcome). All proceeds from the event will go directly to Ms. Frazier to help defray transportation costs associated with this semester abroad.

Register online (or make a contribution) at qcbl.sportssignup.com/site.

Whether or not you play ball, all are invited to come out, enjoy the games and wish Ajaleen well as she prepares for this wonderful opportunity.

For more information, contact Karen at (908) 405-7872 or Eileen at (908) 462-7018.
