NELLIE DIXON'S FINAL MOVING SALE
Saturday, January 14, 9 AM - 4 PM. At 731 Huntington Avenue (near Grant Avenue).
Nellie is a legendary figure in Black memorabilia and collectibles, and part of this final sale will include items from her personal collection of Black figurines, cloth and china dolls, cookie jars and other collectibles, as well as post cards, advertising cards and other paper items, PLUS books by and about African American authors -- including first editions and out-of-print items.
There are also linens, framed artwork and prints, tables and furniture, kitchen items and small appliances.
