Be Green: Electronics recycling today

Many Plainfielders may find themselves in the same situation as at our house -- quite a bit of outmoded, discarded or 'dead' electronics items that have been relegated to the basement, the bottom of a closet, or (if you have one) the garage.

Today, you can clean it all out.

Union County is holding one of its periodic recycling events -- today, electronics items (more here), from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

What you CAN turn in --

| CDs & DVDs | Keyboards | Scanners |

| Circuit Boards | Modems ( you DO remember modems, right?) |

| Speakers | CPUs | Monitors |

| Televisions | Fax Machines | Phones |

| VCRs | Hard Drives | Printers | Video Cassettes |

What you CANNOT turn in --

| Microwaves | Air Conditioners |

| White Goods (Refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers)

Where: At Schering-Plough in Kenilworth. Take The Boulevard through Kenilworth and cross the Parkway (it is then Galloping Hill Road). The Schering entrance is on the right, approximately one-quarter mile past the Parkway.
